The Old Mill Restaurant has stood along the Clear Lake shoreline since 1978, when a family decided that the best meals begin with honest ingredients and unhurried company. What started as a modest tavern with twelve tables has grown into one of Lake County's most cherished dining destinations — though we've never lost the feeling of walking into a place that simply wants you to stay a while.
Our kitchen draws from the surrounding farmland and the lake itself. We source from local ranches, partner with vineyards in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys, and change our menu with the seasons because that is how the land speaks. The result is food that doesn't announce itself — it simply arrives, perfectly prepared, and lingers in your thoughts long after the last course.
